Hi I'm a newbie here. I just wanted to introduce myself, I am a self taught beader, and love it at the age of 54. Your never to young to learn, lol.
I wondered if any of you have done flatwork bead crochet as I would like to know the best way of doing it. Any advice would be gratefully received

Annette,
Welcome!
How cool that you're self-taught...I am, as well! It's so much fun, isn't it?
I haven't done any flat bead crochet, just tubular, as with the popular bangle bracelets. Is there anything in particular you're having trouble doing? I'm not really an expert on that, obviously, but I'll see if there's anything I can figure out to help you.

Sherry,
Feel free to post links! We encourage learning here.
It's so much easier now, don't you think?
I find myself wishing there had been an Internet long ago, when I learned! There were things I struggled to master, because there was no one to show me and the books weren't always clear.
I definitely think being self-taught is a great accomplishment.
Give yourself a pat on the back for that!
