hello, im new to this site but have been doing cross stitching on and off since i was a child, im mostly joining to motivate myself to finish a gift for my mothers birthday :^)

What are you making for your mother's birthday?  I'm sure she'll love whatever it is...handmade gifts are always the best, IMO!

Is it a large project and you're feeling particularly daunted?  Have been there, done that before, so I can relate!

it's nothing to difficult luckily Smiley

she is very fond of simplistic cross stiching because it remindes her of grandma, so im going to make some flowers that i remember grandma used to have in her garden and frame it :^)

im atm planing a design of a purple garden lupin

That sounds lovely!  Kiss  Flowers always look good and the colors are amazing to work with!  Kiss  And purple...does it get any better?  (LOL, not that I'm partial to purple or anything. Wink)
