I bought a chart of the Dallas cowboy star it 240x240 white and soft navy I can't see to count the soft navy st. I try enlarge it so big it can't be printed. I really like to crochet this for my grandson he is a Dallas cowboy fan all the way win or loose he stick with them.
This chart is big but the st are so small the dark color I just can not count any advice please

BJ,
Welcome!
Two of my dearest friends live in Texas!
Please help me to understand what you're asking...LOL, I'm a bit dense at times.
Am I correct that you purchased this chart from someone who used the freePatternWizard to make the pattern?
Is the problem you're experiencing with the pattern itself, trouble counting the number of stitches on the paper, or trouble seeing your actual stitches well enough to count them?
Thanks in advance!

no I bought the pattern off Etsy The pattern is 240stiches x 240stich the soft navy on the pattern I can't count can't see the lines that seperated them. I try to enlarge the pattern but doesn't work I try to do my own used a chart but can't find one with 240 stiches I thought I could choose a lighter color for the soft navy and be able to see to count the blocks Thank you very much BJ

Hello Beatrice,
Welcome, I'm from Tx. too. I have the same issue with the color blocks, I can't see them.
I made my own Cowboys pattern here, and chose the word chart because I find it's much easier than trying to see the blocks.
You can choose how many stitches you want across, but the program will choose how many rows so it doesn't look skewed.
So my advice is to make your pattern here, select 240 stitches, then select word chart.
Crochet stitches aren't square, so it probably won't be 240 rows, but it will look right.
Hope this helps.
Sherry

BJ,
What Sherry said is spot on...a word chart is so much easier to use than an actual chart. There are no problems trying to view blocks, and you can actually generate your pattern in both word and conventional charts for the rows where you do want to follow a conventional non-word chart, e.g., where you can see the blocks clearly.
We don't keep the patterns people create, so we can't go back and look at the pattern and get you a better copy of it if you've purchased it from an independent seller. Have you tried contacting the seller on Etsy? Can they offer you a better copy of the pattern? Perhaps they can regenerate the pattern as a word chart in addition to the conventional chart.
If not, my suggestion would be to take Sherry's excellent advice and generate your own pattern, at least as a word chart.
