Aloha from Germany! Newbie here.

Aloha!bso happy to have found this board. I learned how to crochet via you tube last October and have been sucked into this obsession (although my yarn obsession/hoarding is slightly higher). I started off trying to knit (epic fail), then went into looming (not bad), then jumped into crocheting and haven't looked back since. My friends don't crochet or knit, a few of them said they were going to start an intervention. HAAA! I say they are just jealous, then crochet them gifts. One friend refused to believe that I was crocheting things that were useful/wearable. When I posted photos of my completed projects she would ask which of my old German neighbors made it for me. 😁😳

Crocheting is my Zen.

Aloha and welcome!  Smile

Well, shame on your friends for not believing you made the things you did!  I don't know how concerned you are with proving you did make them, but perhaps send a couple of photos - action shots of you crocheting?

LOL, a crochet intervention?  Laughing  They need to know that's simply not going to work!  Laughing

I think you're absolutely right...they're jealous.

Crocheting is very relaxing, isn't it?  It's soooooo soothing.  And then you have something tangible when done...win win!  Smile

Feel free to post pics of your work so we can drool!l  And nobody here will think your neighbors made your works!  Smile
