I designed, sent and received the pdf in my email twice, but can't open the pattern. When I try, I get the notice; "Unable to find application to perform this action."
I know I'm missing something but I'm stumped. I have downloaded patterns before but I just can't figure this one out. HELP!

Karen,

I'm not the tech expert here, but it just sounds to me that you no longer have an application on your device that will read a PDF. Are you on a smartphone or tablet, perhaps? If this is a computer, it may be that your PDF file setting is no longer associated properly with a PDF reading application.

I would say the best test of this is if you try another PDF on the same device. Do you get the same message with that different PDF?

Karen,

I think Melanie is right. It sounds like your device may not be able to open a .pdf file. You can often install a .pdf viewing app if this is the case.

The patterns downloaded from the freePatternWizard are all in .pdf format.
