Welcome! 

At this time we don't have a way of converting a graph that wasn't made with the freePatternWizard to a written pattern.  Currently, if you create a crochet or illusion knitting graph with the freePatternWizard, you can make a word chart, so if you still have your original image, perhaps you'd be best off running it through the freePatternWizard to get your new graph and word chart.  Then you can disregard your current chart.

Hi, 

The word chart generated does not tell me what stitches I should use for each row. It just tells me the colours and how many of it. How can I generate a chart where I can see what stitches I need to use? (I am referring to crochet.)

Welcome!

If you've chosen "standard" crochet, in the UK and Australia (and perhaps some other countries of which I'm not aware) that means a double crochet stitch.  In the US, it's called a single crochet.  (This is why we call it standard, because if we were to call it a single crochet, our friends in the UK and Australia would probably be lost!)

If you've chosen Tunisian, it depends on which Tunisian stitch you've chosen; the shape of your stitch will be determined by your gauge.

If you've subscribed to and are using filet, in the US, your standard stitches for that are the double crochet and chain.  In the UK, you would be using the treble and the chain stitch.

Hi! Thank you for that. I chose standard and am following the US on crocheting. So that means any patterned word chart will just mean all single crochets then right? I'm assuming the starting chains are not included in it so what is said to be Row 1 will actually be the 2nd row above the chains?

Perfect!  You have that perfectly.    Yes, the pattern means single crochets.  And you're correct, the chain row isn't included, so row 1, while technically really being row 1, would be considered the second row if you counted the chain row as row 1.
