Help!
April 19, 2018 at 8:26:57 PM
I have lost pages of my pattern and it's breaking my heart! I can't believe I didn't save it.
I have the image I used to make the pattern, I have several of the pages, but I can't seem to recreate the exactly same pattern! I wish there was some way I could put in exactly which colors I want and see if it could come up with the pattern from there, because I do have the color page still.
I have put over a year into the pages I've stitched so far already. To have to start over would be beyond devastating. Can anyone help me?

Ok so I did find how to put in the colors, but I put in all 96 colors my original pattern uses, and when it makes the pattern, it only uses 88 of them. ARGGGG. I don't know why I can't re make this pattern!

Oh, no, I'm so sorry, how awful!
I've handed your message off to Terry (Support), and I'm guessing he'll respond to you tomorrow. I hope he has some ideas.
This sounds like just the kind of thing that would happen to me.
I've definitely lost partially-stitched patterns to floods, sigh...but those weren't my own. Still, I can relate.
It's so devastating.

Hi.
Assuming all 96 of the colors you chose are actually in the image, try setting the Color Sensitivity in section eight to 1.
If there are chances that you changed the brightness, contrast, smoothness or some other settings, it may be difficult to get the exact same pattern.
Given the same image and the exact same settings, the program should give the same pattern.
Changing the stitches across or sending it a different size image would change the pattern.
Here's another idea. It may sound strange but go into the Preferences tab (lower left) and try changing the "Pdf Cover Page Image Appearance" setting. Until I turn on the next version (which I hope will be this coming week), this setting can sometimes affect the colors chosen in the image.
I'll try to come up with some other ideas but these are a start.
