Good Morning,
I'm new to the page. Trying to create a pattern for a graph of Baby Detroit Tigers.
size 100x100 can't seem to get the full outline of the english D to come out right. Any suggestions ?

Hi,
A couple ideas.
First, starting with an image with so much detail will probably not work well if you're shrinking it down to 100x100. I just reduced your image to this size and you can see the loss in detail. (This is a 100x100 image but enlarged so you see the detail.)
Also, there are a lot of stray pixels which are probably introduced by changing the image size and/or the quality and makeup of the original image. For example, if taken from a printed form, images sometimes are screen printed and are made up of dots. These dots would be interpreted as different color pixels. One setting you might try is to turn on "Anti-alias" in section 8 of the program.
Just a few ideas.

Graceannem,
Welcome!
Going with Terry's answer, I can suggest a possible solution. Make the cap solid blue and embroider the letters on later with the white. I've seen that done before on crochet and it looks great!
