Reading graph
September 16, 2019 at 6:09:27 AM
I'm hoping someone can help me here.
I managed to download a graph of a picture I'm hoping to bead, it's 150 across 271 high that's seems oka.
But when I looked at the graph it's in separate pages! So I need help in knowing how to read it.
This is my first attempt so a tiny bit lost
Is there anything on here that shows me how to do this only I couldn't see anything
Thanks guys

Gloshei,
If you follow the numbers across the top you'll see that it goes across first over the pages. So you might see (for example only) 10-50 (which is really 1-50, just that the numbers start at 10) over the top of your first page and 10-100 on the side, going down to the bottom.
Then when you see the next page, it goes across from there, so if you have a pattern that's 100x150, following the numbers you might see 50-100 across the top on the second page. Which will also then be 1-100 along the side, going from top to bottom.
Then the following page, page 3, would go from 10-50 again, but the side would read from 100-150 in this particular example. The page after that would go from 50-100 along the top and 100-150 along the side from top to bottom.

Thanks Melanie,
That makes sense now! What a dummy 🙈
All I have to do is make sure I have the right size for the picture I'm basing this on A3 so far but it's trial and error isn't it, unless you can give me an idea on this as well.
I must say I love this site and your all so helpful
Thank you all so much 🌹😻

Gloshei,
You're not a dummy!
I'm not sure what size A3 is. I'm guessing that's a UK or European measurement?
If you can figure out how many inches wide you want your finished piece to be, you can then figure out how many beads per inch in your chosen bead type and multiply that by the number of inches you would like for the finished piece. I've tried to find a good indicator of how many beads per inch there are, but I'm sorry to say nothing thus far has provided this info.
So what you could do is make a small 1x1 inch piece to determine how many beads to the inch and how many rows to the inch. Then I would do a ratio of pixels to beads (stitches) for the freePatternWizard to give your desired size. The freePatternWizard will figure the correct length to keep your pattern in proper proportion.
You're so welcome...we're happy to help!
