So I just made a pattern and I want to make sure its not too big. It says its 150 wide x 170 high. I'm just so bad and thinking of sizes in my head.

Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Stitchpunk,
Welcome! Smile What a great name! Kiss
If you're crocheting, the only way to determine this is with (I'm so sorry to say it!)...math. Surprised I know, this plagues all of us! Wink
First, you'll need to make a gauge swatch (I don't know many people who like making those!), using your chosen hook and fiber. This will tell you how many stitches and rows per inch you'll have.
Once you know that number, you can divide the number of stitches per inch into the width and the number of rows per inch into the height. That will tell you how large your crocheted piece will turn out. Kiss
If you're knitting, there's a similar procedure. Smile
