How to remove the White background stitch count (cross stitch)
July 13, 2020 at 8:51:41 PM
Hello,
I've done my first sample test pattern of a flower with a neutral background (transparent in Photoshop PSD and saved as white when converted to a JPG).
The background came out as being all white stitches. There's no need to stitch the blank background. As I'm setting these patterns up to sell I need to remove this as I don't want customers wasting time, thread and money on trying to stitch a white background.
The flower itself has some white stitches in it (at the moment, I will be simplifying it as I think I've made an advance pattern) so I don't want to lose them.
Can you help with this please?
Many thanks.

Molly,
Welcome!
I'm sorry to say that at this time there's no way to remove the white background stitches. Of course you don't want people to stitch anything but the accent colors, as I agree, that would be a waste of time and thread...nobody cross stitches that way!
This is a feature we'll be including as a later option, as it's been requested before, but for the moment it's not available.

Hello, thank you for your straight forward speedy reply.
I've included a message in the Notes section about not needing to stitch the background so hopefully that will be seen and help.
It will be lovely though when it changes.
Many thanks
