If you type in "Monster Hunter Perler Beads" on google youll see a link named "46 Monster Hunter perler ideas". A user named Taylor Hubs created a 36x36 perfect grid for the Monsters icons featured in that game using this website, but not all Monsters were present. I just wanted to know how to recreate those so that i can create grids for the remaining 140 monsters so that i may create perler beads for all of them. Heres a image -->

Thank you...what amazing patterns...we love that page!

The size of the grid is dependent on several factors; in this case, the person creating the patterns chose to make cross stitch patterns, using the DMC color palette. Cross stitch patterns will, if a square pattern is input into the freePatternWizard, keep the patterns square, since cross stitches are square, unlike crochet or knitting or bead shapes. My guess is the person who created those patterns started with very, very small images, 36x36 pixels, which they then input into the freePatternWizard to produce 36x36 cross stitch patterns.

I'm not sure what image you wanted to send, so please feel free to send it in a response.

As for Perler beads, I've used them before and don't remember if they're square or rectangular like glass beads. If they're rectangular, I suspect that since these patterns are small, they don't skew much (if at all), so 36x36 while using cross stitch is a good size to create a perfectly square pattern.

Thank you so much for replying i appreciate it, im 1 step closer to starting this massive perler bead project. Perler beads are round in shape, but when they melt they get that perfect pixel shape just like the icons. Ive noticed a few pixels missing or added when i upload the photos, but i can work around that and sorry but im having trouble uploading the image on this reply

To upload an image here, if you're on a computer, click on the image of the tree from the top line. That will allow you to browse your files and find the correct one to upload.

It looks like they uploaded an original game image of 35x35 pixels, then gave the freePatternwizard "35" as the number of stitches across. This would give everything in the original image as stitches/beads, with no distortions.
