Filet Crochet Option

I have tried several times today to print a filet crochet chart - however I cannot select the filet option. I can choose Standard or Tunisan, but not filet.
Thanks.

Filet Crochet Option
February 4, 2014 at 6:07:20 PM (in response to Becky message #1)
Hi, Becky.
The filet option has yet to be implemented fully so I currently have it disabled. This is something that will be completed a bit later. I'm about ot re-write the main pattern generation portion of the program and will probably not enable the "filet" and "artwork" (
section 8
) options until that's done.
I always make a note when someone asks about features or makes a suggestion of what features they'd like to see. Requested features are generally implemented earlier than later. So by you asking about it puts a fire under my butt, and will prod me to finish this option.
I'm not sure exactly when it'll be enabled but I'll move it up in priority. (We've recently added 5 of over 100 new features so there are lots of new things coming.)
And by all means let us know if you'd like something added to the program. I'm having a great time developing it and there's no end in sight! We're happy to make this available to everyone for free!

Is this feature working yet? I can't seem to make it work either.

Deeba,
Welcome!
The filet option does indeed work, however, it's a Premier feature which is why, unless you're subscribed, it won't work. (The post above is from 2014, before the filet feature was available.)
To subscribe to Filet Crochet or any Premier feature, the subscription page is here:
/pages/pattern/subscribe.php
Filet crochet has an introductory price of $6.99 for a full year.

I am interested only in being able to put a photo over a grid and getting black/white filet. How do I do this using the program?

Zirean,
Welcome!
The freePatternWizard doesn't create patterns that way. For a filet crochet pattern, it will give you a grid you can follow, which will show filled and non-filled squares.
