Gridding

Hello! please let me say I love the pattern maker. I have a question and that is can the pages be numbered to show where each meet each other of a main grid showing the breakdown of the pattern. I hope that you understand what I mean. Thanks Maria

Hi, Maria.

I'm pretty sure I understand.  I have plans on making the .pdf pages much easier to know how it all fits together.

We've been discussing a couple ways of doing this and it will definitely be coming.  I have some other issues that I want to take care of too relating to the printouts.  Like I want to eliminate pages with only one or two rows or columns... and a bunch of other stuff! Laughing

I'll be also adding support for different size paper.  Since we're in the US, the starter pages were 8 1/2 x 11" letter.  But I'll be internationalizing some things.

So in answer to your question, yes, I'll be adding paging layout.  Not sure yet when it's coming but I'm working away at my list.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions and desires regarding the program.

Terry

Thanks for that I look forward in anticipation to the page gridding.  Page size is great and if you use foolscape I am not sure of the size but it should eliminate the two or three lines on another page. That maybe eliminated too it you make the pattern allowances wider to  accommodate the few lines. Also I would love to see to be able to use 11 count aida as thats all I can see nowadays as I am loosing my sight to old age  I have made my pattern  17 pages  and now I just have to work out how to put together so it all flows.

you do great work here and I will be patient. Love the patternmaker and will be looking forward to the changes that you are making. Thank you.
