lost pattern
March 29, 2015 at 12:02:14 PM
i started this some time ago but had a problem in my house with dry rot and lost the paper pattern cut from a magazine. it is a round doily in filet crochet depicting a scene of oriental design. 3 japanese or chinese figures surrounded by trees or it could be a bridge with pillars underneath. would like to finish it but has anyone got any idea where i could find the pattern and download it again. so frustrating and done too much to unravel it. thanks
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Welcome!
I'm very sorry you've lost the pattern...I can completely empathize as I lost a lot of patterns in the past to flooding, and it's very frustrating (not to mention heartbreaking!) to be unable to finish something, as well as annoying not to be able to at least remember where the pattern came from.
That said, can you please re-post this in the crochet area? This is the freePatternWizard area, so fewer people who specifically crochet are likely to see your message, and I'd like to have the most people possible see it.
Also, if you can find out what magazine the pattern was from, if the magazine is still in business, you may be able to contact the publisher, show them your photo and see if they can send you a copy of the pattern.

I'm a beading, knitting and crochet addict. If that means I'm admitting I have a problem, then I admit to nothing. Please refrain from helping me.
