- I worked for a school district for 26 years. After I retired I taught myself to crochet (with the help of two dear friends). Once I started, nothing stopped me. I was a computer tech (I don't do Windows, I hire a maid!) for many years and loved my work. Now I took of coffee roasting, attending several shows a year to have people sample my different kinds, and I do the Farmer's Market. I love being around people, so handing out free coffee I get my wonderful people fix! I am married and my husband and I will celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary in August. We have two adult kids, three grandchildren, many adopted grandchildren through marriage, and two great-grandchildren. (And another on the way... in October!) I love to crochet, did I say that?
